Shades of Melanin

The concept behind Shades of Melanin is to showcase the range of black beauty from all the shades. The women in this series come from all aspect of life. Each woman displays either an unique shade of black and/or feature, such as albino to deep, dark chocolate or freckles and vitiligo. This series is dedicated to black women who was told that their blackness was not beautiful enough. In this series, every shade of blackness is beautiful.
